My Life - Life beholds me in……
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference |
- Robert Frost
This is my life. As I see it, is simple in its external manifestations, but is riddled with complexities in its internal deliberations. I never chose the easy option in life and experienced it as it came, yet at the same time making it meaningful. I cherish life and long for growth pangs over mediocre stability.
When all my friends were busy trying to find a job, I decided to do what most Bengalis find difficult. I decided to venture in to the uncertain world of business. I was not sure what the outcome of my venture would be, but I was sure it was worth a try. And try I did with whatever precious little resource I had. While everyone I knew, had trepidations about me, I launched forward like a bumble bee, who aerodynamically is not supposed to fly – but not knowing Physics, the bumble bee merrily goes on flying.
I impulsively took the path least travelled. What mattered to me was not success, but the process that leads to success. Along the way, my hard work and vision for the future were complemented by my family, especially my elder brother, blessed by my parents, enriched by my supporting wife and son, nourished by my friends and made meaningful by thousands of students that made Techno India their institution of choice.
I am indeed very blessed. My experience in life has been enriched by my interactions with so many true intellectuals and luminaries from all walks of life. Whatever I am today is largely because of them and the inspirations they provided to adopt some of their better instincts in life. I consider learning to be a lifelong process and learning came to me from all different sources, my academic interludes, and above all from all the mistakes that I made.
This website chronicles some of my experiences. I hope which will inspire not through my success, but through my efforts of making life meaningful.
“And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years”.- As Abraham Lincoln said.
And this is my life…….
